Welcome to gangfree.org, an online service and Web site administered by the Harbor Area Gang Alternatives Program, dba as the Gang Alternatives Program, (“the Program”, or “We”), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Program’s online properties are comprised of, but are not limited to, all pages found under www.gangfree.org, including our youth portal for children and teens, “My Gangfree Life” (www.gangfree.org/mylife), and our corporate portal (www.gangfree.org) (“Program sites”, or “Site”).

You may download or print Materials displayed on the Site for non-commercial, educational and personal use only, provided you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained on the Materials. However, you may not modify, distribute, transmit, reuse, re-post, use or sell any of the Materials, services or programs obtained from the Site for public or commercial purposes without the Program’s written permission.
The MP3 song and ringtone, The Gangfree Life theme song, may be used for your personal/private use and may not be uploaded or distributed on the Internet, and/or packaged for resale, and/or played or performed in public without written permission by the Gang Alternatives Program. © 2008 and 2009. All Rights Reserved. Music and lyrics for the The Gangfree Life theme song are copywritten and may not be used without the expressed written consent of Clear Channel Media. We assume no responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any damages to, or viruses that may infect, your computer equipment or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing in the Site or your downloading of any materials, text, images, video, or audio from the Site.
TRADEMARKS
The trademarks, logos, and service marks (collectively the “Trademarks”) displayed on the Program Sites, including “I choose to be me, and live Gangfree”, “No Gangs. No Color Lines. No Alcohol. No Drugs.”, “My Gangfree Choice”, “My Gangfree Life”, and “Gangfree Life” are registered and unregistered Trademarks of the Program and others. You may not use Trademarks displayed on the Site without the written permission of the Program or third party that may own the Trademarks displayed on the Site. Furthermore, everything you read, see or hear on the Site is copyrighted unless otherwise noted, and you do not have the right to use this material without written permission from the Program. Your misuse of the Trademarks displayed on the Site, or any other content on the Site, except as provided in these Terms and Conditions, is strictly prohibited. You are also advised that the Program will enforce its trademark and intellectual property rights to the fullest extent of the law, including the seeking of criminal prosecution. All other trademarks displayed on this Site or through links to other sites are the property of the respective trademark owners.
USER SUBMISSIONS AND E-MAILS
Our Web site offers many opportunities for users to share their personal stories, testimonials, ideas, opinions, suggestions or creative materials (“material” or “materials”). Please be advised that any material that a user voluntarily submits to the Site is considered public. By submitting your material (using submission forms, polls, call for entries, email, or postal mail), you agree to grant the Program a royalty-free license to your materials, with the right to reproduce, distribute, transmit, or publicly display any materials and other information you submit or email to the Program. We reserve the right to edit, remove or refuse to post any materials submitted to the Site that the Program deems to be not in the best interests of the Program or the people it serves. Your email address may be required for certain submissions, but it will not be published or shared with any third parties, except as noted in our Privacy Policy.
COPPA
We will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13, to remain consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) of 1998.
