GAP is a strong nonprofit organization with a vision to prevent young people from joining gangs. Its mission is to eliminate the base of gang membership by having a generation of young people say “No” to gang culture and “Yes” to positive lifestyle choices.
Over 25 years, more than 500,000 children have been touched by a GAP program, more than 150,000,000 square feet of graffiti have been abated, and more than 900,000 residences and businesses have benefitted from GAP’s community work.
