Los Angeles, CA – On Thursday, June 20, 2013 the Gang Alternatives Program (GAP) hosted a workshop discussion entitled “Promoting Hope and Enhancing Life: Gang Prevention Strategies That Work” at the 11th Annual Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative (LANI) event held at the University of Southern California (USC). The workshop was moderated by GAP’s Executive Director, Douglas L. Semark, Ph.D. and the panel speakers consisted of Los Angeles based community partners who dedicate their lives to empower youth to live Gangfree.
